Maharashtra Guv launches book 'Modi's Mission', says PM Modi resolved complex national issues

Mumbai, Oct 25 (UNI) : Launching a book titled 'Modi's Mission', Maharashtra Governor Archarya Devvrat said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "resolved many complex national issues calmly and without controversy," and that his leadership has "enhanced the dignity of India and Indians across the world."
The book 'Modi's Mission'was unveiled at a grand ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai yesterday, celebrating the life, ideals, and transformative leadership of PM Modi.
The event was graced by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and several other dignitaries.
Authored by eminent lawyer and writer Berjis Desai, the book portrays Modi's life as "a story of an idea", the idea of national renaissance and a self-reliant India. The author describes Prime Minister Modi's leadership as a mission aimed at the revival of a developed India.
The book presents Narendra Modi's journey from grassroots leadership to global statesmanship, highlighting the policies and principles that have defined his pursuit of a developed and self-reliant India.
In his address, Governor Acharya Devvrat said that "a person who creates his own path even in adverse circumstances is truly great, and Modi ji has done exactly that."
He added that Modi's ability to resolve complex national issues "calmly and without controversy" has elevated "the dignity of India and Indians across the world."
Desai said that Prime Minister Modi overcame early prejudices and false narratives through determination and purpose. The book provides an analytical account of key policy decisions, including the abrogation of Article 370, formalisation of the economy, implementation of GST, demonetisation, and efforts toward transparent governance.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that 'Modi's Mission' elaborately presents the life and vision of PM Modi, showing how he defined his mission and remained steadfast in achieving it.
"Prime Minister Modi has laid the foundation for a strong economy by 2047, empowering the poor, farmers, youth, and women," he said. "While the 20th century belonged to Mahatma Gandhi, the 21st century belongs to Narendra Modi," he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said 'Modi's Mission' stands apart for its honesty and depth, offering an authentic portrayal of the Prime Minister's achievements and values. He added that, in an age of misinformation, the book "presents the truth with courage and integrity," and suggested that excerpts could be included in school curricula to motivate students.
